In the rail corridor
Rail corridor work such as track grinding and welding throws sparks into dry fuel along the line. Hi-Rail vehicles built for rail corridor use, crewed by uniformed, certified fire teams, provide fire cover during works and reduce fuel loads along the corridor. Crews integrate with possession planning so response, hazard mitigation and reporting sit inside the work, not beside it.
